Preferred Name
You can configure the SFS to display a student's preferred name instead of their legal name.
This option is only available if you have integrated the SFS with your SIS/ERP.
When a student selects a preferred name in your SIS/ERP, the change will be reflected in the SFS. The student's preferred name is displayed online, such as in the SFS header.
Their legal name will continue to be used in official capacities and with Authorized Users.
The preferred name will not be used in statements, communications, receipts and with Authorized Users.
The preferred name will be visible to SFS Admins.
